Mary Ann King
With the extra hours made available to Mary Ann in retirement came the opportunity to pursue a life-long interest in art. Her garden provides inspiration for the flowers she loves to paint. Having had the good fortune to travel to many parts of the world, Mary Ann has discovered an abundance of land and seascapes to capture in watercolour.
Studying with many fine artists such as Emil Varga, Marilyn Mercer, Art Cunanan, Richard Hayman, Gary Chapman, and Hi-Sook Barker has enabled her to refine her technique. As a member of the Brushstrokes art collective, Mary Ann participates in several shows each year. Her paintings are found in many private collections.
